Geared for online learning

Here is something to share with your learners – or perhaps you’ve been planning to do that MOOC in summer yourself? This article from Harvard Business Review gives several useful recommendations for self-studying on online courses and how you can make the best of them: what to focus on, how not to drop out by getting involved in more synchronous learning, why it is important to have clear goals and to find a study buddy.

Whatever we choose to study, starting – and completing – an online course is a serious commitment, so kudos to all of us who are doing it! (I’ve signed up for Introduction to Bookkeeping on EdX – anyone interested?)
