Have we always been agile?

Here’s an interesting Sunday read: Jennie Wright on Agile ELT. She describes how she sees principles of agile project management applied to the English language classroom. For example, you keep adjusting every lesson plan, and, perhaps more importantly, adapt and develop your own professional practice; you break big tasks into manageable pieces; push your learners to develop themselves – there’s a lot more. Jenny ends the post with a question: ‘Is business only now catching up with ELT best practice?’ Or is there something we can still learn from business?
