This article about storytelling by Rachael Harris offers a great introduction into Bloom’s taxonomy: it’s a story in itself, where Benjamin Bloom is shown as a real hero of education who uncovered the mystery of learning, from simple cognitive skills to more complex. There are also activities to illustrate every skill and every taxonomy verb: did you know that you can ‘contrast and infer’ with younger and lower-level learners? It’s all about asking the right question.
P.S. I am really looking forward to my workshop about Bloom’s Taxonomy at the Teacher Skills Forum in Jordan! Watch this space for new instalments into the topic this week.
